Limiter

Police detective Yagi navigates the demanding realities of law enforcement alongside his younger partner, Amemiya. Working closely together in a profession defined by high stakes and constant danger, the two have developed a professional dynamic layered with unspoken tension. Beneath their day-to-day duties lies a foundation of buried emotions—feelings that remain carefully hidden yet subtly shape the way they interact and rely on one another in the field. However, the fragile balance of their partnership is threatened by shadows from Amemiya’s past. Rather than focusing solely on his current cases or the quiet connection he shares with Yagi, the younger detective finds himself increasingly consumed by a singular, driving obsession. He harbors a deep-seated desire for revenge against a vicious criminal who left a lasting mark on his life. This relentless pursuit of retribution threatens to override his better judgment, pulling him toward a dangerous path that could compromise not only his career but also the unspoken bond he shares with his partner. As Amemiya’s fixation intensifies, the story explores the heavy toll that unresolved trauma takes on those sworn to uphold justice.
