Nakaaki Keiko and Mimasaka Kousuke first crossed paths at the age of sixteen while attending high school. Their worlds could not have been more different: Keiko was an exemplary student and the vice president of the student council, consistently ranking at the top of her academic class. In contrast, Kousuke arrived with a troubled background, having been expelled from his previous institution, and dedicated the majority of his time to the pursuit of filmmaking. Spanning a decade, this narrative chronicles the complex evolution of their relationship. As the years unfold, their lives intertwine through a poignant succession of near-misses, misconnections, and missed opportunities. Against the backdrop of these recurring disconnections, both characters navigate the profound challenges of growing up, striving persistently to discover and define their true selves amidst the shifting currents of time.
