Years ago, a young girl named Tama-tan had a brief but unforgettable encounter with a mysterious boy. Before parting ways, he entrusted her with a special object and made her promise to wait for his return. As seven long years slipped by without any sign of him, Tama-tan began to lose hope, slowly convincing herself that their meeting was nothing more than an ordinary childhood memory and that his promise would never be fulfilled. Her quiet resignation is shattered when a UFO suddenly appears in the sky. From it emerges the very same boy she has been waiting for, still recognizable by his distinctive bunny-like ears. However, their reunion is not the romantic homecoming she imagined. He reveals that he has returned to Earth on a specific mission: to search for the "Lunar Ladies," a group of chosen candidates being evaluated to become the next Moon Princess. To Tama-tan's astonishment, she unexpectedly finds herself selected as one of these candidates. Thrust into an otherworldly competition she never anticipated, she must navigate this strange new reality while grappling with lingering questions about the boy who left her behind. Most importantly, she begins to wonder what the true purpose of becoming the Moon Princess actually entails.
