Boku wa Pet

Boku wa Pet is a charming one-shot manga created by Oki Ginjou that explores the unexpected turns life can take when everything seems to fall apart. The story centers on a young man who suddenly finds himself without a job, leaving him adrift and uncertain about his immediate future. With his livelihood abruptly gone and few options available to him, he is forced to navigate the vulnerability of sudden unemployment. Seeking stability during this difficult transition, he ends up moving in with his senpai, an older figure from his past who offers him a place to stay. What begins as a practical arrangement born out of necessity gradually evolves into something much more endearing. Living under the same roof, the two must adjust to their new shared dynamic, navigating the close quarters and shifting boundaries that come with cohabitation. Through lighthearted interactions and quiet moments of adjustment, the protagonist discovers that losing his career might just lead him toward a surprisingly heartwarming chapter in his personal life.
