Ayumu Note

After the sudden cancellation of her wedding, office worker Ayumu finds herself overwhelmed by agitation and emotional turmoil. Unable to bear the pitying glances, intrusive curiosity, and quiet contempt of those around her, she makes a drastic decision to escape her everyday life entirely. Armed with the funds originally saved for her honeymoon and her accrued vacation days, she sets off on an impromptu journey. However, she takes one final, unexpected item with her: her ex-fiancé’s personal travel notebook, using it as a guide to flee to a traditional lodging town far from her troubles. What Ayumu fails to realize is that this seemingly tranquil destination harbors a deeply hidden past. The town carries a surprisingly erotic legacy dating back to the Edo period, transforming what was meant to be a simple retreat into something far more provocative. As she navigates the historic streets and settles into the local atmosphere, she soon discovers that escaping her heartbreak might lead her down an entirely unforeseen path shaped by centuries-old secrets.
