Wish Made by a Star

Yeon-Ji and her closest friend, Mu-Re, have always shared a cynical view of romance, firmly believing that love only serves to make people foolish and unattractive. Bound by this mutual disdain for matters of the heart, the two friends navigate life with a grounded, pragmatic outlook. However, Yeon-Ji's carefully guarded perspective shatters when she finds herself unexpectedly falling for the very person she once mocked romance alongside. Driven by overwhelming emotion, Yeon-Ji takes a desperate gamble, risking their cherished friendship to confess her feelings to Mu-Re. The response is devastating; she is met with a brutal and unforgiving rejection that leaves her utterly heartbroken. Bitter and humiliated, she curses her former best friend's name as she retreats into despair, convinced that their bond is permanently destroyed. Yet, the morning after her painful confession brings an inexplicable shift in reality. When Yeon-Ji wakes up, she discovers she has been granted a bizarre new ability: she can now perceive and read the romantic feelings of anyone around her. Her everyday life has suddenly transformed into something resembling a dating simulation game, forcing her to navigate a world where hidden affections are laid bare before her eyes.
