Shinigami Ramen

Ochiai is an exhausted salaryman pushed to his absolute limit by the relentless demands of a toxic, exploitative workplace. Walking home on the brink of a complete mental breakdown, he finds himself consumed by despair and wishing for death. Yet, even in his darkest moment, one simple desire remains: he refuses to leave this world on an empty stomach. His aimless journey leads him to an unusual ramen cart bearing the sign "Shinigami Ramen." The stand is operated by a young girl named Keira, who boldly declares herself to be a shinigami—a god of death. Recognizing Ochiai's profound anguish, she offers him a bowl of ramen so extraordinarily delicious that consuming it will grant him the peace needed to pass away without regrets. Faced with this surreal proposition, Ochiai must decide whether to savor the meal and quietly surrender to the end, or discover a reason to keep going. However, even if he ultimately chooses life over death, the unexpected warmth and charm of his adorable young reaper provide something he desperately needs: a renewed sense of hope for the future.
