In a bizarre twist of fate, Mikoto finds herself in the unlikeliest of situations. After being knocked down by a mysterious yellow rat, she is confronted by a strange girl who poses a series of cryptic questions, inquiring if she is a time traveler, reincarnator, or reborn person. The conversation takes a perplexing turn as the girl references a past life as an Empress, surrounded by treachery, and another life where a person is reborn after a tragic betrayal. As Mikoto struggles to make sense of the situation, she becomes increasingly disoriented, realizing that her surroundings are not what she expected. Instead of the anticipated journey to become a Pokémon Master, she finds herself in Academy City, where the presence of Pokémon seems utterly out of place. With her memories hazy and her sense of reality distorted, Mikoto must navigate this unfamiliar world and uncover the truth behind her circumstances.
