The Clingy New Hire Keeps Asking Me Out

Kazama Masato is a dedicated office worker whose only ambition is to complete his daily tasks and return home in peace. However, his predictable routine is disrupted by the arrival of Inami Nagisa, a new hire who quickly proves herself to be an exceptional employee. She is remarkably competent, learns at an impressive pace, and maintains a warm, approachable demeanor that endears her to everyone around them. Despite her undeniable charm and pleasant appearance, she becomes an unexpected source of frustration for Masato. Nagisa has a persistent habit of teasing and flirting with him, testing his patience on a daily basis. As her senior colleague, Masato believes he should maintain a composed and professional distance from such antics. Yet, her playful words and bold actions continually catch him off guard, making it nearly impossible to keep his composure. He struggles to understand why her behavior affects him so deeply, insisting to himself that her constant attention is merely irritating rather than endearing. Despite his firm denials, Masato finds himself increasingly flustered by her presence. The more she pushes his boundaries with lighthearted affection, the harder it becomes to ignore the shifting dynamic between them. He is forced to confront an unsettling possibility: his intense reaction to her teasing might not stem from annoyance at all, but from feelings he never intended to develop.
