Aoi Hitomi no Bake Mono

Born with striking blue eyes, Tatsumi Kodama inherited a rare genetic trait that grants his family supernatural abilities. Whenever he locks eyes with another person, he is involuntarily flooded with every thought they have ever had. Rather than serving as a gift, this overwhelming power has become a profound curse. To manage their condition, Tatsumi and other blue-eyed members of the Kodama family are confined to an isolated island, cut off from the outside world and burdened by the constant weight of their shared affliction. His only true anchor is Kei Arima, the adopted son of the caretaker family tasked with looking after the secluded Kodama lineage. Kei harbors deep romantic feelings for Tatsumi, an affection that Tatsumi recognizes but stubbornly refuses to acknowledge. Convinced that the inescapable burden of his blue eyes makes any genuine connection impossible, Tatsumi begins to pull away, slowly fracturing the bond they built during their childhood. As the emotional distance between them widens, Tatsumi must confront whether he can ever overcome his fear and finally meet Kei’s gaze without losing himself in the process.
