Futago Complex

Momo and Ao are high school twins whose personalities could not be more different. Momo is a bright, straightforward, and endlessly curious girl who approaches life with infectious enthusiasm. Her twin brother, Ao, serves as her perfect foil—a calm, collected, and deeply responsible young man who prefers to keep his emotions carefully guarded. Together, they navigate the everyday challenges of adolescence while locked in a dynamic that constantly shifts between friendship, rivalry, and something far more intimate. Their bond defies conventional labels, forming a mysterious and unconventional relationship that leaves everyone around them bewildered. To outside observers, the twins appear far too close, prompting exasperated complaints from their peers about how excessively affectionate they act toward one another. This ever-changing connection forces both siblings into a complicated emotional dance, blending playful competition with undeniable romantic tension. As they move through their high school years, Ao struggles to maintain his composed exterior, often falling into classic tsundere patterns whenever Momo’s uninhibited nature pushes him past his limits. Their contrasting temperaments create a captivating push-and-pull dynamic, ensuring that every interaction is charged with unpredictability. Ultimately, Futago Complex explores the blurred boundaries of a unique male-female relationship, following two opposites who continually challenge and complement each other in ways no one else can fully understand.
