Desert Storm in a Tank

In 1981, the Dawn Machine Factory on the brink of bankruptcy, was instructed by superiors to convert its army-orientated production to civilian goods, with a deadline of three months to produce a single product or risk being shut down entirely. In the final month, factory leader Lin Mù made a series of changes to the design, including increasing the thickness of the wall, implementing double-sided welding, and adding an interface to connect a remote control module. When presented to his superiors, they responded incredulously, "This is a gas tank? You call this a 3.2mm thick container with remote detonation and internal support?" Lin Mù calmly replied, "It's a civilian pressure vessel, a set costs $300." The firm's first order was paid in full, and the factory erupted in chaos: "The factory head has gone mad! He's selling a tank for $300!" However, it was only when news began to surface from the Middle East that a mysterious bomb had destroyed a T-72 tank, only to reveal the remains to be a gas tank, that the situation took a dark turn.
