Goodbye, Lara

Long ago, a mermaid princess named Lara lived beneath the waves, cherished by her father, the king of the sea realm, and her older sisters. Her life changed forever when she fell deeply in love with a human prince who dwelled on land. Such an attachment was strictly forbidden within mermaid society, yet Lara could not deny her heart. Determined to be with him, she sought out a witch named Grace, who provided a magical potion that would transform her into a human. This gift carried a devastating condition: if Lara failed to secure true love, she would dissolve into sea foam. Despite her royal heritage and the grave danger she faced, Lara chose to embrace humanity for the sake of her feelings. Tragically, her deepest wish remained unfulfilled, and she ultimately perished back into the ocean. Two centuries later, Lara miraculously awakens once more, this time emerging in Lake Biwa. Driven by the same powerful emotion that defined her past, she begins a renewed quest to finally find her true love, proving that her story is bound entirely by the enduring force of love itself.
