The Cat and the Dragon

Deep within a secluded forest, a formidable dragon capable of breathing fire was raised not by its own kind, but by a devoted mother cat. Despite harboring a deep-seated disdain for humanity, the creature assumes an unexpected role as a guardian to a lively community of felines. Affectionately known among them as "Uncle Wing," the dragon watches over these endlessly curious cats, ensuring their safety while navigating his own deeply ingrained prejudices against the human world. The feline community under his protection is remarkably diverse in its pursuits and interests. One adventurous cat embarks on a journey alongside a human prince, bridging the gap between species through shared experience. Another has chosen the bustling environment of the city, where it spends its time quietly observing people as a favorite pastime. Through witnessing the varied lives and interactions of the cats he protects, Uncle Wing begins to undergo a profound internal shift. His steadfast animosity toward humans gradually softens, transforming into a quiet acceptance as he discovers that the creatures he once despised are far more complex than he ever imagined.
