Cha Ji-Won, the director of Gallery Hwadam, appears flawless to the outside world—gifted with exceptional talent and striking good looks. Yet he harbors a secret ability: he can see ghosts and banish them by drawing their portraits. When he dismisses a tormenting spirit with his usual method, he is abruptly dragged into Jungcheon, the realm where the dead are judged, for bypassing proper procedures. There, he encounters Ga-On, the supreme ruler of this afterlife domain. What begins as mere pride and curiosity toward an untouchable, transcendent being soon evolves into something far more complex and undeniable. Ga-On has spent millennia fulfilling her solemn duty of judging the deceased, but she now has only thirty years remaining in her existence. Having never experienced even the simplest earthly pleasures, such as tasting an Americano, she finds herself unexpectedly moved when Cha Ji-Won becomes the first person to treat her with genuine warmth. As he slowly makes his way into her guarded heart, the two begin working together to judge and save wandering souls. Bound by this shared mission, they must ultimately discover whether they possess the strength to save each other before time runs out.
