Nightmare Inspector: Yumekui Kenbun

For those tormented by relentless nightmares, salvation can be found within the quiet walls of the Ginseikan Tea House. To the casual observer, this establishment appears to be nothing more than a refined venue for enjoying an exquisite cup of Darjeeling. However, the patrons who seek out its services are not merely looking for refreshment. They arrive burdened by terrifying visions that haunt their sleep, desperate for a remedy that conventional medicine cannot provide. The tea house is home to Hiruko, a private investigator unlike any other. He does not deal in missing persons or stolen property; instead, his expertise lies in the surreal landscape of the human mind. Hiruko is a dream eater, a being capable of consuming the darkest and most disturbing nightmares that plague his clients. By devouring these harrowing visions, he offers genuine relief to those who have exhausted all other avenues of escape. Yet, such extraordinary intervention does not come without consequence. Hiruko will rid anyone of their most terrifying dreams, but his assistance demands compensation. Those who enter the Ginseikan Tea House seeking peace must be prepared to pay his price, stepping into a transaction where the currency extends far beyond simple money.
