Musubu Shiomi is a second-year middle school student living a quiet, unremarkable life. However, everything shifts on the day her senior, Shizu, celebrates his graduation. Shizu was once her closest childhood friend, but the two have long since drifted apart and become estranged. Despite the distance between them, he approaches Musubu with a simple request: to take a commemorative photograph together before he leaves. During this unexpected reunion, Shizu casually mentions that he will be attending Kitakou High School. Driven by lingering feelings and an old promise she has quietly held onto for an entire year, Musubu impulsively declares that she will enroll there as well. What follows is a determined effort to turn those words into reality. Through sheer dedication, she manages to swiftly secure her admission to the very same high school, fulfilling the vow she made to herself. Yet, arriving at Kitakou High School alongside Shizu does not automatically mend the fractured bond they once shared. Now navigating the unfamiliar halls of their new school, Musubu must confront the emotional distance that grew between them over the years. Reconnecting with a former childhood friend who has become almost like a stranger proves to be far more complicated than simply following him to the same campus.
