Wanna Be a Star!

Ever since childhood, Soh harbored a deep passion for singing, a dream that eventually led her to become a trainee at a major entertainment company. However, as she grew older, the physical changes of adolescence worked against her aspirations. Her voice deepened into a husky tone, and her frame broadened, leaving her feeling increasingly out of place in the competitive world of female idols. When a new trainee named Sena joins their prospective girl group, Soh is pushed to the breaking point. Despite years of relentless effort, she loses all hope of ever achieving stardom and makes the painful decision to abandon her dream of becoming a K-pop star. Just as she prepares to walk away, an unexpected opportunity arises. Yujin, a male idol Soh has long admired, announces open auditions for new members of his boy band. Realizing that her naturally boyish appearance and deeper voice could finally work in her favor, she sees this as her last chance at success. Without hesitation, Soh borrows her twin brother’s identification and rushes to the live auditions, determined to seize the moment. With everything on the line, she steps onto the stage, hoping to finally turn her lifelong dream into reality.
