Correspondence from the End of the Universe

Marko is a young Russian university student eagerly counting down the days until graduation. His primary motivation is simple: he wants to finish his studies so he can finally dedicate more of his time to his beloved fiancée. However, his carefully laid plans for the future are abruptly shattered when he is suddenly abducted by extraterrestrials, pulling him far away from everything he knows and loves on Earth. Rather than treating him as a mere captive, these aliens have a specific purpose in mind for Marko. They assign him a daunting mission that will require a full ten years to complete. Stripped of any chance to return home immediately, Marko has no choice but to adapt to his extraordinary circumstances and make the best of his situation. He must learn to navigate life alongside the strange beings who have unexpectedly become his new co-workers. Set against the backdrop of deep space, this offbeat story follows Marko’s daily existence millions of miles from humanity. As the decade-long assignment unfolds, he slowly begins to understand the peculiar creatures sharing his isolated environment. It is an unconventional tale of resilience, adaptation, and finding unexpected connections in a life unimaginably far from home.
