Practised Deceiver

Alysha, a rising model on the verge of her biggest career breakthrough, has just been chosen as the new face of a prestigious cosmetics brand’s upcoming campaign. However, her excitement quickly turns to dread when she discovers that the acclaimed photographer leading the project is none other than Ross. His involvement forces her to confront a deeply unsettling chapter from her past that she has spent years trying to forget. Five years earlier, Alysha was merely an ambitious girl from the countryside with dreams of becoming a supermodel. Driven by desperation, she barged into Ross’s studio and bribed him into conducting a test shoot for her. The price he demanded in return was steep, leaving behind a humiliating memory that continues to haunt her to this day. That encounter defined their dynamic, and she never expected their paths to cross again under such high-profile circumstances. Now, standing at the center of a major campaign, she cannot help but wonder why Ross would deliberately choose to work with her after everything that happened during their disastrous first meeting.
