Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord

Van, the fourth son of a marquis, awakens to the memories of his past life while still a toddler. Armed with knowledge far beyond his years, he is raised as a child prodigy within his aristocratic household. However, everything changes when his innate magical abilities finally manifest. Instead of the prestigious battle magic expected by his elitist family of mages, Van possesses production magic—a discipline they view as worthless and beneath their noble status. Deeply disappointed by his son's lack of combat prowess, Van's father banishes him to a remote, failing frontier town on the brink of total collapse. Rather than succumbing to despair over his exile, the optimistic young lord surveys his new domain and sees nothing but untapped potential where others see ruin. Armed with practical skills his former family dismissed, Van sets out to transform this struggling settlement into a thriving bastion. By relying on ingenuity, infrastructure, and the power of creation rather than destructive spells, he begins building a better life for his people. Through determination and an unwavering positive outlook, Van aims to prove that true strength lies not in warfare, but in the ability to nurture and defend a community from the ground up.
