Despite knowing that he will eventually forget her, Princess Xie Mingzhao repeatedly appears before him, allowing him to rediscover her and rekindle their love. As the twelve lanterns appear one by one, the fate of the world begins to collapse, and a centuries-old truth finally comes to light.
