Decades ago, individuals known as "witches" emerged into the world and were swiftly branded as heretics. Viewed as malevolent beings who brought harm to humanity, they became the targets of a relentless and systematic purge. In this society, witch hunting is not merely an act of violence but an unquestioned truth accepted by all—except for a young boy named Hayato Arai, who has always harbored quiet doubts about this cruel common sense. Hayato’s fragile reality shatters when he accidentally witnesses the sudden manifestation of the "Witch Stigma" on the arm of his beloved childhood friend, marking her as one of the very outcasts the world despises. Desperate to shield her from a society that demands her eradication, he resolves to protect her at any cost, even if it means defying the powerful religious authorities orchestrating the persecution. However, time is a luxury Hayato does not have. Before he can formulate a plan to save her, the Red Line Church dispatches its elite witch hunting unit directly to their location. Thrust into a deadly confrontation with forces far beyond his control, Hayato must fight to defend the girl he cherishes against an unforgiving world determined to see her destroyed.
