I Don't Like That Smile

In the quiet isolation of a school gymnasium storeroom, Ritsuki confronts Sumire with a provocative challenge, declaring his desire to shatter her perfectly composed expression. As the most popular boy on campus, Ritsuki is accustomed to getting what he wants, and he treats this encounter as nothing more than a game shared among his friends. His target is Sumire, an aloof and emotionally detached girl shadowed by dark rumors about her willingness to sleep with anyone. To him, she represents just another conquest waiting to be claimed. However, as Ritsuki pushes past her icy exterior and draws closer to her, the reality of who Sumire truly is begins to unravel his careless intentions. The stoic mask she wears every day hides a nature entirely different from the one whispered about in the school hallways. What starts as a shallow bet orchestrated by a group of arrogant friends gradually transforms into something far more complicated and vulnerable. As their connection deepens, Ritsuki discovers that Sumire's coldness is not born of indifference, but of profound pain. Their dynamic shifts from a predatory game into a poignant romance between two deeply wounded individuals. Together, they must navigate the heavy burdens of their pasts in a love story defined by hidden scars and fragile hearts slowly learning to trust again.
