Sentenced to Be a Hero

In a realm where heroism serves as the ultimate form of punishment, Xylo Forbartz endures an unimaginable sentence. Once condemned for slaying a goddess, Xylo is now forced to serve within Penal Hero Unit 9004, a brutal military detachment tasked with confronting endless waves of monstrous abominations. For those conscripted into this unit, death offers no mercy or release. Instead, it merely triggers another agonizing cycle of resurrection, dragging soldiers back into relentless combat without any hope of final rest. Amidst this unending nightmare of bloodshed and forced servitude, an unexpected shift occurs when Xylo crosses paths with a mysterious new goddess. Rather than condemning the warrior further, she becomes an unlikely ally in a world built entirely on retribution. Together, their fragile partnership begins to challenge the very foundations of the penal system that binds them. This unprecedented alliance slowly ignites the flames of a dangerous rebellion. As Xylo and the enigmatic goddess unite against their oppressors, they set into motion a defiant uprising with the power to shatter the chains of eternal punishment once and for all. What began as an inescapable sentence transforms into a desperate fight for true liberation.
