Yi Myun lives a quiet life alongside his father, yet beneath the surface of his ordinary existence lies a deeply unsettling sense of displacement. Although he retains the childhood memories one would expect, he is frequently haunted by the feeling that he is merely an outsider inhabiting his own body and home. This profound alienation extends beyond the walls of his house; at school, he remains entirely isolated, devoid of any friendships or meaningful connections to anchor him to the world around him. His domestic life offers no refuge from this pervasive unease. His father’s behavior fluctuates unpredictably between chilling detachment and an overwhelming, almost suffocating affection, creating an environment that feels far from normal. As Yi Myun navigates this fractured reality, the mystery deepens during his rare ventures outside. Strangers on the street occasionally approach him, greeting him not as Yi Myun, but as someone else entirely. Caught between an erratic household, complete social isolation, and a baffling case of mistaken identity, he is left to unravel the disturbing truth behind his existence and discover what is truly happening in his life.
