Nao is a second-year high school student harboring a quiet, unspoken crush on Rin, her fellow member of the school's basketball club. Terrified that confessing might shatter the comfortable friendship they share, she chooses to keep her feelings hidden, settling for the bittersweet reality of standing by his side as just another teammate. She believes their dynamic will remain unchanged, until an unexpected twist turns her carefully guarded world upside down—Rin suddenly falls head over heels in love at first sight. To Nao’s dismay, the object of his sudden affection is not her, but Michiyo, a strikingly beautiful upperclassman. As Nao struggles to process the heartbreak of watching Rin chase someone else, her own romantic life grows unexpectedly complicated. Kouta, a younger underclassman, begins making earnest advances toward her, closing the distance with clear intentions. Caught between lingering feelings for a boy who only sees her as a friend and the persistent attention of a junior who wants something more, Nao finds herself navigating a tangled web of unrequited love, shifting loyalties, and the unpredictable nature of young romance.
