Yumiko had long anticipated a summer getaway to the beach, a trip she originally hoped to share with her husband. When he is unexpectedly unable to join them, her excitement gives way to disappointment, yet she decides to make the journey anyway, traveling alone with her young son. While she struggles to shake off her melancholy at the shore, two younger men approach her, striking up an interaction that lingers in her mind long after the sun sets. That evening, after tucking her son into bed, Yumiko receives an invitation to the room of the two men she met earlier that day. Driven by a quiet, secret hope she barely dares to acknowledge, she leaves her child sleeping and makes her way to where they are waiting for her. What follows marks the beginning of a forbidden summer affair. Despite being deeply tormented by guilt over her marital vows, Yumiko finds herself increasingly consumed by powerful carnal desires, surrendering to a passionate encounter that threatens to unravel everything she thought she knew about herself.
