Lunia, the neglected daughter of the Count of Persephone, has endured a lifetime of isolation, shunned by her father and exploited as a mere tool by her half-brother. Her fate shifts dramatically when a priest selects her to become the bride of Hades, the formidable head of the Duke of Khronoa family. Feared throughout society as the "King of the Underworld," Hades is bound by a deadly curse: unless he marries a bride chosen by the emperor, his lifespan will be tragically cut short. Despite this dire circumstance, he makes it clear to Lunia that he has no intention of ever loving her, viewing their union solely as a means to break his affliction. Determined to save him even without his affection, Lunia orchestrates a desperate deception. She shares a single night with Hades to fulfill the conditions of the curse, then vanishes completely from his life, unaware that she is now carrying his child. Seven years pass before Hades finally manages to track down the woman who sacrificed everything for him. Now armed with the truth, the once-distant duke seeks to reclaim both Lunia and the child she has kept hidden, setting the stage for a sweeping romance built on misunderstandings, sacrifice, and enduring devotion.
