Haraiya Amagiri no Koukeisha

Born into the prestigious Amagiri lineage of exorcists, young Miyoshi Tenma harbors a deep reluctance toward inheriting the family headship. His hesitation stems from a profound psychological wound: witnessing his father tragically lose his life while banishing a malevolent entity. This harrowing loss instilled in Tenma a lingering skepticism and inner conflict regarding the true value and safety of their hereditary duties. However, the fragile status quo is suddenly shattered when the current patriarch makes a shocking decree. The succession of the family head will no longer be determined strictly by bloodline, but rather through a rigorous evaluation of pure ability. Amidst Tenma's ensuing confusion, a brilliant outsider named Makoto enters the succession race, driven purely by financial ambition. Makoto flagrantly disregards traditional protocols and rules in her ruthless pursuit of exorcising evil spirits. Although Tenma approaches her with deep wariness and suspicion, this unexpected dynamic sets the stage for a tumultuous clash of ideals, forcing him to confront his past and his place within the exorcist world.
