Reincarnation as a Trial Recorder

After a life of luxury, a young man from a wealthy family dies while saving someone, earning him great merit. However, instead of being reincarnated into a life of prosperity, his spirit descends into the underworld, where his stubborn and argumentative nature gets him into trouble with the judges. Despite his good deeds, the judges deem him unworthy of his fortune due to his lack of empathy and understanding of human suffering. As a result, he is sentenced to remain in the underworld as a trial recorder, tasked with documenting the lives and deeds of countless souls without compensation. His punishment will only end when he has fully grasped the complexities of human emotions, humbled his heart, and gained a deeper understanding of the world, at which point he will be allowed to reincarnate and start anew. Through this journey, he will come to appreciate the value of compassion, empathy, and self-reflection, ultimately emerging as a wiser and more enlightened individual.
