Steel of the Celestial Shadows

For a samurai, the sword is far more than a weapon—it is the very vessel of their spirit. Yet Konosuke is tragically denied this fundamental bond. Afflicted by a cruel curse, he finds himself physically repelled by any metal that comes near him, rendering him unable to even lift a blade. Stripped of his purpose and reduced to utter destitution, the despairing warrior concludes that death is his only remaining option. His attempt to end his life is abruptly halted by the intervention of a beautiful and enigmatic woman who rescues not only his body but his fractured soul. Her timely arrival spares him from oblivion and sets him on an entirely unforeseen path. Known as Ryudo, he is drawn away from the brink of ruin and introduced to a reality he never imagined possible. This encounter marks the beginning of his extraordinary journey into a hidden realm of magic—a strange and wondrous world that exists just one step removed from his own. No longer bound solely by the limitations of his curse, Ryudo must navigate this unfamiliar domain where supernatural forces shape destiny, leaving behind the hopeless samurai he once was.
