Spectral Wizard

Once revered for its vast collection of dangerous grimoires, the Sorcerers' Guild has been officially branded a terrorist organization. In response to the perceived magical threat, authorities established a specialized chivalric order armed with cutting-edge science and technology to dismantle the guild's operations. This relentless campaign proved devastatingly effective, as sorcerers were systematically hunted down, captured, and executed one after another. Those who managed to evade the purge now live as fugitives, constantly on the run in a world that views their very existence as a crime. Among these desperate survivors is the enigmatic Spectral Wizard, a sorcerer possessing the rare ability to render his body entirely immaterial. This unique power allows him to slip through the grasp of the technologically advanced knights hunting his kind, yet survival remains a perilous daily struggle. Forced into the shadows, he must navigate a hostile landscape where magic is outlawed and discovery means certain death. This manga presents a compelling collection of three interconnected short stories, exploring the harrowing conflict between ancient sorcery and modern warfare through the eyes of those left behind by the purge.
