Dangeum and Jigyo

Stripped of his royal title, Crown Prince Ji-Gyo is banished from the palace and sent to live out his remaining days in a remote, quiet village populated almost entirely by the elderly. His only companions in exile are Chunggeum, the man who raised him, and Dan-Geum, his assigned guard. Isolated from the world he once knew, Ji-Gyo sinks into listlessness and loneliness. Desperate for genuine connection, he begins pushing Dan-Geum to step beyond his traditional role as a silent, invisible shadow.
