Ryuu to Ryuugoroshi no Miko

For generations, a human nation secured its prosperity through a grim tradition: sacrificing a maiden to a dragon. This dark pact served as the foundation of their wealth and stability for as long as anyone could remember. However, as civilization advanced and technology progressed, humanity eventually developed the means to defend its borders independently. No longer reliant on the ancient beast for protection, the people began to view the dragon as nothing more than an obsolete relic of a bygone era. Determined to sever ties with the past permanently, the nation selects a priestess for a singular, deadly mission—to slay the dragon once and for all. Yet, when the chosen priestess finally stands before the fearsome creature, the encounter takes an entirely unexpected turn. Instead of engaging in battle, the dragon falls hopelessly in love with her at first sight, completely derailing humanity's assassination plans. What begins as a solemn execution transforms into something far more unpredictable, giving rise to a fresh romantic comedy centered around a very complicated attempt at dragon-slaying.
