Barairo no Yakusoku

Set against the atmospheric backdrop of a world reminiscent of Japan’s Taisho era, Barairo no Yakusoku follows Iroha, a young woman born into a respectable and well-regarded family. Her life is suddenly upended by the tragic passing of her father, leaving her to navigate an overwhelming tide of sorrow. Seeking refuge from her grief, she retreats into the quiet sanctuary of her family's garden, hoping to find solace among the flowers in the days following her devastating loss. Her fragile peace is abruptly shattered when an unexpected intruder crosses into her private grounds. A strikingly handsome yet undeniably arrogant man clad in a crisp military uniform trespasses into the garden without invitation. Far from offering comfort, his bold presence disrupts everything she knows. This sudden, uninvited encounter with the imposing soldier sets a dramatic chain of events into motion, forever altering the course of Iroha’s life as she is drawn into a new reality she never could have anticipated.
