Parasite Eve

Kiyomi had long been plagued by strange, recurring dreams that offered no explanation for their unsettling nature. Her life is abruptly cut short when she perishes in a tragic car accident, leaving behind her grieving husband, Nagashima. As a renowned biologist, he possesses a deep understanding of the human body, yet his profound sorrow quickly spirals into an all-consuming madness following her sudden death. Unable to accept the finality of his loss, he becomes singularly focused on an impossible goal. Driven by desperation and his scientific expertise, Nagashima approaches the coroner to retrieve Kiyomi’s liver. He presents a seemingly legitimate justification for the request, claiming that he intends to use the organ for academic research. However, this professional excuse is merely a carefully constructed cover story designed to hide his true intentions from the world. Beneath the guise of scientific inquiry lies a far more radical and obsessive plan. Nagashima does not seek to study the tissue; instead, he aims to use it as the foundation for resurrecting his deceased wife. Blurring the boundaries between brilliant biology and sheer madness, he sets into motion a desperate scheme to bring Kiyomi back to life, regardless of the consequences his unnatural ambition might unleash.
