Katsuhiko Tobe finds himself trapped in a deeply unsettling predicament. Having completely lost control of his physical form, his body gradually dissolves into nothingness, leaving behind only his disembodied consciousness. Untethered from the material world, his awareness drifts endlessly across the globe. As he flows through this vast and boundless existence, Katsuhiko is left with nothing but his own thoughts, constantly reflecting on the nature of the world around him and grappling with the surreal reality of his current state. While Katsuhiko's mind wanders aimlessly across distant horizons, his closest companion remains anchored to their shared past. Azami Seshimo, his best friend, stays behind in their native Japan, holding onto hope amidst the uncertainty. Bound by loyalty and an unspoken promise, Azami patiently waits for the day Katsuhiko might somehow return from his inexplicable condition. This quiet yet profound narrative explores the stark contrast between one man’s ethereal dissolution and another’s steadfast devotion. Separated by an impossible divide, their connection endures as Katsuhiko navigates his formless journey and Azami keeps watch over the life they once shared.
