Asterisk

Fraw and Kio are celestial beings entrusted with a sacred duty: safeguarding the passage of souls on their journey to Heaven. Throughout their youth, Kio served as Fraw’s steadfast protector, always watching over his companion. However, their dynamic shifts dramatically when Fraw is unexpectedly elevated to one of the highest ranks within the angelic hierarchy. Embracing this newfound authority, Fraw assumes the role of guardian, dedicating himself to shielding Kio from harm. As they confront the Manifis—malevolent spirits that sustain themselves by preying upon humanity—Fraw faces a daunting challenge. He must conceal his prestigious new status from Kio while fighting alongside him against these dark entities. Complicating matters further is a lingering mystery surrounding Kio himself, particularly something deeply unusual about his wings that sets him apart from other angels. The series opens with a prologue chapter that was initially released as an independent one-shot titled "Eden," serving as the foundation for the broader narrative.
