Nightmare Eater

Since childhood, Kanomiya Tsukuru has possessed an extraordinary gift: the ability to perceive human misfortune as a tangible black mist. More than merely witnessing this dark phenomenon, he holds the rare power to purify it entirely. Despite the potential of his abilities, Kanomiya has spent the majority of his life keeping them hidden from the world, choosing instead to live quietly and avoid drawing unwanted attention to himself. However, everything changes on his very first day of high school when he encounters Arisu Howl, a strikingly beautiful girl who is completely engulfed by the suffocating black mist. Captivated by her appearance and deeply alarmed by the heavy burden of misfortune threatening her future, Kanomiya makes the impulsive decision to follow her closely in secret. What begins as a quiet observation quickly escalates, pulling him out of his carefully guarded anonymity. As he steps into her orbit to protect her from unseen dangers, Kanomiya finds himself thrust into a thrilling supernatural adventure set against the backdrop of their school, where his hidden powers will finally be put to the ultimate test.
