Itsuwari no Marigold

Kasumi Hana is left reeling after the sudden death of her brother. Driven by a mix of grief and suspicion, she sets out to visit Urushizawa Lily, the young woman who had been corresponding with him as a pen pal. Hana harbors dark intentions: if she discovers that Lily was somehow deceiving or manipulating her brother, she is fully prepared to murder her in retaliation. She arrives at their meeting place bracing herself for betrayal, determined to uncover the truth behind their relationship. However, upon meeting Lily, Hana's vengeful resolve shatters completely. She discovers that Lily is blind, yet possessed a deep, genuine affection for Hana's late brother. Their bond was entirely sincere, built on honest care rather than deception. Confronted by Lily's innocence and the pure nature of her feelings, Hana finds herself unable to go through with her violent plan. Instead, a profound sense of responsibility takes hold of her. To protect Lily from the devastating pain of losing someone she cherished so dearly, Hana makes an extraordinary decision. She chooses to assume her deceased brother's identity, stepping into his role to preserve Lily's happiness and shield her from the harsh reality of his passing.
