Casarte gives birth to twin daughters at a momentous turning point for the empire, as her husband Casablanca returns home in triumph from a victorious military campaign. To celebrate his safe return and appease the conquering hero, the fourth generation of Ghana—acting upon the queen’s direct suggestion—summons the realm’s great wizard to perform a sacred blessing over the two newborn girls. However, what begins as a joyous ceremony quickly transforms into a harrowing prophecy. Through the ancient art of divination, the great wizard peers into the destinies of the twins and reveals a startling truth: though they share the same blood, their fates are diametrically opposed. One child is destined for boundless good, while the other is cursed with inherent evil. The oracle declares that one sister will usher in an era of endless prosperity for the empire, whereas the other will drag it into a future of unending misfortune. This chilling revelation casts a long shadow over the royal household, forever binding the sisters to a prophecy that threatens to tear their world apart.
