Beneath the Mask

Throughout her years at the academy, Catia has deliberately concealed her face behind a mask, keeping her true appearance hidden from everyone around her. This mysterious choice defined her entire educational journey, isolating her from peers and fueling endless speculation about what she might be hiding beneath the disguise. However, everything changes during her graduation celebration. In front of numerous attendees, her fiancé—the First Prince—publicly shatters their engagement. He cruelly denounces her, declaring that her supposedly hideous appearance perfectly reflects a malicious and unkind heart. His harsh words are intended to humiliate her completely, using her masked visage as undeniable proof of her alleged inner ugliness. Yet, the prince’s arrogant assumption may prove to be his greatest miscalculation. By judging her solely on rumors and a covered face, he failed to consider the reality of the situation. After all, no one ever confirmed that an unsightly face truly lay beneath her mask. As the dust settles from this public betrayal, the truth about Catia's hidden features threatens to turn the prince's cruel dismissal into a decision he will deeply regret.
