Apparently, Disillusioned Adventurers Will Save the World

Nick once dedicated himself to a veteran adventurer party, quietly shouldering responsibilities far beyond his official role. While his companions lacked discipline and focus, he consistently stepped in to manage the group’s finances, ensuring their accounts remained balanced and their operations ran smoothly. Despite his tireless support, his loyalty was repaid with betrayal. The very party leader he deeply respected accused him of embezzlement, casting him out from the only team he had ever known. Stripped of his position and burdened by a false accusation, Nick is left disillusioned with the adventuring life he once cherished. However, his misfortune soon leads him down an unexpected path. Wandering without a party, he crosses paths with several other jaded adventurers—kindred spirits who have similarly been wronged, discarded, or worn down by the harsh realities of their profession. Recognizing their shared frustrations and untapped potential, these disillusioned individuals decide to forge a new path together. By pooling their hard-earned experience and battered resolve, they form their own party. United by mutual understanding and a desire to prove their worth, this unlikely group sets out on a journey that will transform them into an unstoppable force.
