Barefoot Angel

Amid the biting cold of a harsh winter in modern-day England, Turner, a compassionate local shoemaker, discovers Benny—a destitute young man shivering on a park bench without a pair of shoes. Moved by concern for the vulnerable stranger, who bewilderingly insists that he is a former angel, Turner decides to offer him shelter in his home to protect him from the freezing elements. As the two men grow closer over time, Benny immerses himself completely in learning the ways of the human realm. Eager to support his guest's journey, Turner resolves to craft a custom pair of shoes especially for him. This intricate shoemaking process spans several months, during which Benny continues to live under Turner’s roof, forging a deep and meaningful bond. However, as the footwear finally nears completion, a poignant question emerges. When the last stitch is sewn and the shoes are finished, will their unique domestic arrangement inevitably come to an end?
