Kurobe is a dedicated detective and an unyielding kendo practitioner whose life has been consumed by a relentless search for his daughter, Erika, who vanished without a trace a year prior. Every passing day deepens his quiet desperation, driving him to chase down every dead end in the hope of finding her. His quest takes a surreal and harrowing turn when he crosses paths with a mysterious old man holding a strange, enigmatic book. The stranger makes the astonishing claim that Erika is trapped within its pages. Before Kurobe can fully process the revelation, he is violently pulled inside the tome, plunging him into a bizarre alternate world. However, he does not enter this realm as himself; instead, he finds his consciousness bound to the mechanical frame of a robot, forced to navigate an unfamiliar and dangerous reality in his ongoing hunt to rescue his daughter.
