Kyuudaiten Demo Seishun Wo!

Chiharu Hiiragi is a student who has been held back a year, leaving him struggling to find his place among his new classmates. His difficulties extend to academics as well, forcing him to attend remedial chemistry lessons held in the school infirmary. It is there that he encounters an unusual study partner: an extremely shy girl from his class who conceals herself entirely beneath a white bedsheet. With her face hidden and her appearance resembling a ghost, their initial attempts at conversation are clumsy and awkward. Yet, despite the strangeness of the situation, Chiharu finds an unexpected sense of comfort in her quiet presence. As they continue to meet in the infirmary, the two slowly begin to open up, sharing hesitant thoughts about their age, the pressures of school life, and the unspoken secrets they struggle to articulate. Through these tentative exchanges, the once-dreaded hours after classes end gradually transform into something meaningful. What begins as an unconventional encounter blossoms into a gentle, offbeat youth comedy centered on a boy barely passing his classes and a girl hiding behind a sheet, proving that even the most awkward beginnings can lead to a heartwarming story of connection.
