A dragon’s hormonal drives are no trivial matter, especially when the beast is actively searching for a mate. In this one-shot story, the warrior Siegfried finds himself facing down such a creature in what should have been a straightforward battle for survival. However, fate intervenes through the whims of chance when Siegfried rolls a perfect natural twenty during his attempt to defeat the formidable dragon. Instead of landing a lethal blow, this critical success triggers an entirely unexpected outcome: Siegfried accidentally strikes the dragon with a powerful Charm effect. The magical compulsion instantly alters the dynamic between hunter and prey, transforming a life-or-death struggle into something far more complicated. Bound by the unforeseen consequences of his own attack, the bewildered warrior soon discovers that overcoming a lovestruck dragon is only the beginning of his predicament. Before long, the unlikely pair finds themselves inexplicably married, leaving Siegfried to navigate the strange new reality of being bound to a hormonally driven, magically charmed draconic spouse.
