Best-Selling Mangaka x Depressed Mangaka

This independent manga explores the twisted and complex entanglement between two vastly different creators navigating the harsh realities of the publishing industry. On one side stands a deeply depressed, reclusive shut-in whose career as a mangaka has long since faded into obscurity. Struggling with severe mental health challenges and isolation, this fallen artist represents the darker, often unseen struggles behind the creative profession. Contrasting sharply with this tragic figure is a wildly successful, best-selling mangaka affectionately known as "Super Darling." Radiating popularity and commercial triumph, this creator embodies everything the other has lost or never achieved. As their lives intersect, the story delves into the psychological friction and dark dynamics that emerge when absolute failure collides with overwhelming success. The work is an independent creation by Eno Sumi, recognized for the series After God, who authored this particular project under the alias Hanae Deki. Through this pseudonym, the creator crafts an intimate, unfiltered narrative that examines obsession, artistic disparity, and the fragile human connections forged in the shadows of the manga world.
