Yuusha-sama ni Ikinari Kyuukon sareta no desu ga

When a beautiful princess is taken captive by the Demon King, a brave hero sets out alongside his trusted party of adventurers to mount a daring rescue. The quest proves successful, and upon their triumphant return, the kingdom prepares to grant the hero any reward he desires for his valorous deeds. However, instead of claiming riches or glory, the hero makes an unexpected request: he asks for marriage. Yet, to the astonishment of the entire court, the woman he chooses is not the rescued princess, but rather her humble maidservant, Aria Milford. No one is more stunned by this sudden proposal than Aria herself. Having spent her life quietly serving in the background, she has always comfortably viewed herself as nothing more than a minor character in a grand tale meant for far more important people. She never imagined that the spotlight would ever turn in her direction, let alone that the realm's greatest champion would single her out as his chosen bride. Despite Aria’s bewilderment and her deep-seated belief that she does not belong at the center of such a story, the hero remains entirely resolute. He is fiercely determined to win both her hand and her heart, leaving the bewildered maid with no choice but to navigate this overwhelming new reality. As his unwavering affection continues to challenge everything she thought she knew about her place in the world, Aria must decide how she will respond to a romance she never saw coming.
